Deltina Hay

Deltina Hay is the founder of Social Media Power and Dalton Publishing, a literary press based in Austin, Texas. She has been programming and doing Web development in one form or another for 25 years. Her love of media and publishing, coupled with her passion for open source programming led her naturally to social media and Web 2.0 consulting. She knows first hand the amount of traffic that social media optimization and marketing can drive to a Web site, as well as the millions of potential customers and readers it can reach. She created Social Media Power to offer ways for entrepreneurs, small businesses, authors, nonprofits, and publishers to greatly improve their own Web presence using social media and Web 2.0 tools and technologies. Her undergraduate and graduate education includes accounting, computer science, applied mathematics, numerical analysis, fluid dynamics, and psychology.
